Physicians' Testimonials
Dr. Haim Moshe Adahan. Director of The Pain Rehabilitation Center, The Chaim Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, ISRAEL

"I have experience using the PainShield device in over 32 patients with difficult pain conditions during the past year. This device has impressed me with the consistency with which it affords significant relief to patients with difficult pain conditions from a large variety of pathologies. We have helped young athletes with painful tendon injuries and elderly patients with painful vascular wounds as well as soldiers with severe nerve injuries. The PainShield device reflects the basic science literature on Low Intensity /Low Frequency Ultrasound by its ability to not just treat pain, but also to help heal the underlying injured tissue. The device has shown itself to be well tolerated and easy to use. Most of my patients choose to wear the device overnight and receive treatment while sleeping."

"My experience with PainShield has shown that it is highly effective in treating painful foot disorders including heel spur syndrome, tendon disease and wound pain. I am currently performing a clinical trial evaluating the effectiveness of PainShield on patients suffering from diabetic foot ulcers and initial results are very promising. The PainShield device addresses many of the shortcomings of traditional therapeutic ultrasound and various other therapeutic modalities."

"As the head physiotherapist of one of the top basketball teams in Israel, I'm always looking for new technologies that may help our professional athletes following injuries. When I was introduced to the PainShield device I had a couple of players with Achilles tendonitis. One had a chronic injury that did not respond to conservative treatments and limited his daily activity, while the other had an acute injury following practice, a day before the game.
Both players were treated with the PainShield device during their overnight sleep. Both reported a dramatic reduction in their pain. The player with the acute injury was able to play the day after the treatment and he continued the treatment for an additional week. The player with the chronic injury reported a significant reduction in his pain level after 4 days of treatment and after 3 weeks he was free of pain.
This was amazing!!! I have served as a physiotherapist for years and I deal a lot with professional athletes with similar injuries. It is the first time, that I observed such a dramatic improvement in a tendon injury and a reduction in pain, following a treatment with a specific modality. It is very effective, simple to use and the option of getting treatment during sleep makes it very popular in our team."

"Following an introduction to the UroShield technology during The World Congress of Endourology and SWL, I decided to evaluate this technology. As to date, I'm impressed with the dramatic effect the device provides in enhancing chronic patients' quality of life by reducing pain, spasm and number of required catheter replacements. In addition, preliminary results in these patients suggest a lower rate of bacteriuria and related UTI. The product is simple to use and maintain. I'm convinced that the UroShield will open a new era in treating urinary catheter related symptoms."

Dr. Ofer Shenfeld. Head, Dept. of Urology, Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem, ISRAEL

"We used the UroShield in our department and out patient clinic in patients that required an indwelling urinary catheter due to various conditions such as urological procedures and urinary retention. Patients treated with the UroShield have less catheter related pain and discomfort, require less anti-pain and anti-spasmotic medications and require less nursing attention. This results in enhanced patient comfort and lower overall costs. The product is simple to use and maintain. It is a great new tool in our arsenal to help our patients."

"Many of our patients require the insertion of a Naso - Gastric tube (NG tube) for various reasons. All of them have pain or discomfort from the indwelling NG tube. Unfortunately, there was no solution, that is, until now.
Recently I carried out a clinical study with the NG Shield in order to determine if the acoustic vibrations of the NG Shield could reduce the pain and discomfort related to NG tubes. The results showed significant reduction in these parameters.
Today, the NG Shield appears to be a very promising device that can bring relief to patients requiring NG tubes."

"Catheter associated UTI`s are still one of the main challenges in hospitalized patients, adding considerably to medical costs. I was very impressed when I first heard about the UroShield technology. Our interest led to first clinical studies, with astonishing results towards biofilm prevention and UTI reduction. I am convinced that the UroShield technology is an important new tool to overcome this problem, hereby reducing significantly the costs of treatment and antibiotic resistance patterns."
