Evolution in Ultrasound Wound Therapy
- Accelerates healing of chronic and acute wounds
- Improves local blood circulation
- Hands-free, portable and easy to use
- Sonophoresis effect enhances topical drug delivery
- Synergetic with NPWT
The WoundShieldTM system is a novel, therapeutic ultrasound product. The WoundShield includes a portable, battery powered electronic unit that uses a disposable patch through which it delivers localized energy creating therapeutic effect for expedited tissue healing. This is made possible due to proprietary technology which allows for the creation of a therapeutic transducer incorporated into a patch placed adjacent to the wound.
The WoundShield which accelerates wound healing, may also be used to enhance oxygen and topical drugs delivery.
Product may be integrated to Negative Pressure Wound Therapy to provide synergetic wound healing effect.
